Mark A. Peterson, USA skriver Ole emigrerede fra Danmark 1. april 1885 til Grant Park, Il. hvor han var beskæftiget med forskelligt arbejde. Han blev naturaliseret borger den 23. september 1892 som farmer. (Kankakee Co, Illinois Immigration and Naturalizations records, Vol C. page 572.) Efter han blev gift bosatte de sig i Momence, Kankakee Co, Il, hvor de boede i ca. 16 år. Derefter flyttede de til Monroe Twp, Lyon Co, Mn og siden til Sodus Twp, Lyon Co, Mn i 1916.

Ole jensen is in a serious condition at the Tracy hospital suffering from a fall from a load of hay some weeks ago.

Death came to Mr. Ole Jensen of near ameret, on Wednesday forenoon at the Tracy hospital, where he had been a patient since March 25.
Deceased was brought to the hospital for care and treatment afte being injured on his back in a fall from a load of hay.
While at first the injury did not seem serious, but together with the shock and his advanced age, recovery proved hopeless.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Methodist Church at AAmiret.

Sodus- funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon, may 12 at 1:30 o`clock at the Methodist church in amiret for Ole jensen, who passed away in the Tracy hospital May 9 after an illness of seven and one-half weeks due to complicationns which set in after a fall. The Rev. A. Ray Harknes had charge of the services. Interment was made in Custer cementery.
Ole Jensen was born in Nor Nebel, Jutland, Denmark, on May 12, 1865 and was 79 years, 11 months and 27 days old at the time of his death.
He was united in marrigage to Johanna Peterson on Feb. 15. 1893 in Kankakee, Ill. To this union five children were born, namely Harry and Howard of Tracy, Hazel (Mrs Harley Faulkner) of Lake Crystal, Junetta ( Mrs Loui Kelson) of Balaton, and Clarence of Ameret. There are also three grandchildren who mourn his loss namely Joan, June Kelson and Loren Dean Jensen.
After his marriagem he resided at Momence, Ill until 1909, when they moved to a farm in Monroe township in Lyon county, residing there until 1916, when they moved to their present home in Sodus township, living with his son Clarence.
His wife preceded him in death on january 14, 1928.
Surviving are his brother, John of Aroma Park, Ill, five children and three grandchildren, and a host of friends and neighbors who mourn his departure.
Pallbearers were Math Tegels, Chas Veline, Albet Buesing, Jim Lorenz, Earl Arfmann and Tolif Olson.

Ole Jensen, born May 12, 1865 in Lonnestak, Denmark, Came to the United States with his brother in 1885. He was married on Februarv 15, 1893 in Momence, Kankakee County, Illinois to Johanna Pederson. Johanna, or "Hanna", as she was knoven bv family and friends, was born January 7, 1869 in Skanderborg, Jutland, Denmark. They farmed in the same area of Kankakee County, IL as his brother Jens until 1909 when they moved their family to Tracy, Lyon County. Minnesota. Many farmers needing larger farms for their maturing sons, relocated to areal where they found bigger farms available. Ole bought a farm there in 1919 where he and his wife lived for the remainder of their lives. Johanna died January 14, 1928 and Ole died May 9, 1944 while hospitalized for injuries sustained from a fall from a load of hay. Both are buried in Bethany Cemetery, Custer Township, Lyon County, Minnesota.
